March 2024 50/50 Draw

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    BC Gaming Event Licence #149295

    1 for $5.00; 200 tickets
    3 for $10.00; 1500 tickets
    8 for $20.00; 5600 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $10,000.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: March 31, 2024 at 11:59:00 p.m. PDT

    Draw
    50/50 draw: April 2, 2024 at 12:00:00 p.m. PDT

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at Green Thumb Theatre, 5522 McKinnon Street, Vancouver, BC V5R 0B6

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://greenthumbtheatre.rafflenexus.com/winners on April 2, 2024.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Green Thumb Theatre.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Green Thumb Theatre or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Green Thumb Theatre does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: info@greenthumb.bc.ca. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

    Please email our team at info@greenthumb.bc.ca should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Cause

Green Thumb Theatre is a force within the field of theatre for young audiences, not only in British Columbia but across the country and throughout the world. In its 2022-23 season alone, Green Thumb traveled more than 29,300 km, reached 115 communities, visited 198 schools, and delighted more than 48,700 audience members across 251 performances.

Green Thumb Theatre creates and produces plays that explore social issues relevant to the lives of children, youth, and young adults. We provide theatre that celebrates the language and stories of today’s generation and culture to stimulate empathy, debate, and critical thinking.

Green Thumb's offices are located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlí􀹂 lwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. As a touring company, Green Thumb Theatre’s work often takes place throughout the traditional homelands of most of the Indigenous Nations and cultures across British Columbia and beyond.
